The small print, in plain sight
Booking terms, payment and cancellation
Transcribed from the terms we issue with every itinerary. If anything here is unclear, ask us before you pay — we would rather explain it now than argue about it later.
Payment
How payment is staged
If payment is not received within five days of the departure date, the booking is automatically cancelled without refund.
Cancellation
What it costs to cancel
Whichever is higher applies where a minimum charge is stated in your quotation.
Seasonal surcharges. High-season supplements apply around Christmas and New Year (approximately 20 December to 5 January), and during Diwali, Holi and Durga Puja. These are charged by suppliers, not by us, and are confirmed in your quotation for the dates you have chosen.
Paying safely. Payment is taken through our published payment link or by bank transfer against an invoice issued by Easy India Tour. We will never ask you to send money to an account that is not named on your own quotation or invoice. If someone contacts you claiming to be us with different account details, call +91 88826 81050 before you send anything. Bank account details are confirmed on your invoice rather than published here.
Terms
The conditions of the booking
These are the terms we publish with every itinerary. They are not unusual for an Indian tour operator, but they are worth reading before you pay rather than after.
- Easy India Tour acts only in the capacity of an agent for the hotels, airlines, transporters, railways and other contractors providing services. All exchange orders, receipts, contracts and tickets issued by us are subject to the terms and conditions under which those services are provided.
- All itineraries are sample itineraries, intended to give a general idea of the likely trip schedule. Weather, road conditions and the physical ability of travellers may require changes before or during the trip. We reserve the right to change any schedule in the interest of the group’s safety, comfort and general wellbeing.
- Our rates are based on prevailing rates negotiated with hotels, airlines and other suppliers. Those suppliers may revise their rates without notice; where they do, a quotation given before the change may have to be revised accordingly.
- All hotel bookings are based on the usual check-in and check-out times of the hotel unless the itinerary says otherwise.
- We are not responsible for delays or alterations in the programme, or for expenses incurred directly or indirectly, due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accidents, bad weather, road blocks, sickness, landslides, political closures or other incidents beyond our control.
- We are not responsible for loss, injury or damage to person or property arising directly or indirectly from causes beyond our control, including breakdowns, transport failure, strikes, theft, epidemics, or customs and medical regulations.
- We do not carry an insurance policy covering accident, sickness or loss by theft. Travellers are advised to arrange suitable insurance in their home country. Baggage and personal property remain at the owner’s risk at all times.
- Visitors are advised to carry original photo identification for security and hotel policy, and to check current identification requirements for the destinations on their itinerary.
These terms are transcribed from the terms Easy India Tour issues with its itineraries. They are provided for information and are superseded by the terms in your own quotation. Ask us for the current version for your booking, and read it before you pay a deposit.
